We have a meeting coordinator whose role is to facilitate communication between various committees and members. Each and every ADC, NSW member has equal status within the organisation and is welcome to participate in the activities of any committee.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Druze Community is to provide a community which nurtures personal and spiritual growth, practices inclusiveness, celebrates, and affirms individual and collective commitment to community service and social justice.

It is the mission of the Australian Druze Community (ADC), to work with committee groups which do not have political affiliations and do not discriminate against others within the Druze faith, to provide basic education for the druze children within Australia. We are committed to raising funds in the local chapters for supporting short-term and long-term regarding the Druze faith. While our priorities will focus on projects that directly deal with basic education of the Druze faith, we will evaluate and attempt to support projects that indirectly support our religious beliefs and goals, though a lower priority subject to availability of funds.

Our Long-term Goals

To live this mission over the coming years we will to:

  • Increase membership every year.

  • Expand adult and children religious education programmes.

  • Maintain an atmosphere of fellowship and continue to provide a caring community.

  • Attract the next generation of young adults and young families.

  • Increase participation in Thursday worship and other aspects of the MOWAHHIDOON life.

  • Maximize participation in "every member" canvass.

  • Make our Druze Hall a greater presence in the larger community.

Goals for the future

Our goal for the future years is to raise funds for maintenance on the druze hall, stationary for the arabic school and miscellaneous (ie website) through a series of fund raising events. We will also attempt to set up mechanisms that will ensure a permanent cash flow into the organisation to ensure support for continuing projects.
